American University South Florida Alumni Chapter leader, Carl Hildebrand, SIS/MA '02, invites you to a Q&A cocktail hour with alumni Hadley Henriette, BA/SIS '96, Bobby Killgore, CAS/BA '94, Michael Cohen, BA/SOC '94, and Cheryl Davis, BA/SOC '05.
Henriette, Managing Editor of 944.com, and Killgore, President and Creative Director of RHK Communications, Inc., will discuss their respective careers in the media industry and answer questions for those interested in learning more about the field.
About the speakers:
Hadley Henriette, Managing Editor of 944 Miami, conceives and oversees the creation of all of the magazine’s content. 944 is the fastest growing media company focusing on fashion, entertainment and lifestyle with magazines editions in nine cities across the United States. Hadley has been a regular host on Plum TV and represents the magazine at events.
Bobby Killgore is the President & Creative Director of RHK Communications, the advertising and branding agency he founded in 1997. Based in Miami Beach, RHK Communications produces award-winning marketing solutions for leading clients in a variety of areas, including travel and tourism, hospitality, entertainment, the arts, finance and real estate. Killgore has written for numerous publications including The Miami Herald’s Home&Design, Ocean Drive, HOME Miami, 944 and Florida InsideOut.
Cheryl Davis is the Miami bureau director for Guest Booker. She has worked at Good Morning America, CNN, Regional News Network. She is a 2006 NY Emmy® Award winner for her work on "Richard French Live: War in Iraq" in the category POLITICS/GOVERNMENT: Program Feature, Program/Special.
Michael Cohen is currently featured on Bravo TV’s Social Miami program. In addition he is a freelance editor covering local entertainment and A-list celebrities for magazines such as In Touch, and he commentates for local and national TV shows such as CNN’s Showbiz Tonight.
